Teodora is an Automation QA Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace and has a lot of experience as a lecturer and presenter - she has been trainer in courses, university teacher and presenter on serious scientific events. A perfectionist, analyst, and a person who always strives for better quality, better processes and added value in each project.
What are the practices that allow companies to deliver quality software to their customers, with the least effort and within the shortest deadlines? What if we do not simply test, but we use the best examples of intelligent industry design: from building teams, hiring QAs and training employees, to deciding what to automate and who will write the automated tests. Should every company have automation QAs? The presentation reveals proven strategies for making our entire process more effective and more satisfying for all parties: consumers, managers and employees.

Gjore is an Agile Evangelist and Heuristic Testing fighter with more than 12 years of experience in Automated and Manual Software Testing in various domains. He recognizes testers as people with various problem-solving skills and an engineering mindset and believes that Software Testers are more than mere numbers to clients. Currently he is working at Seavus (Macedonia), with an official title of a Quality Assurance Coordinator responsible for the Software Testing Team.
Testing beyond the obvious is about sharing some ideas to overcome one of the software testing challenges “how to do more coverage with less testing”. There is no silver bullet but there are so many great ideas which can be helpful, and Gjore is here to share his knowledge with us.
Dusanka has PhD in technical sciences. She works as a test developer and department manager at Levi9 IT Services (Serbia). During the 10+ years of her career she was a speaker at international conferences and author of many scientific papers. When she first met the testing, she realized that she completely finds herself in software testing. Now it is time to share her experience from the stage of QA: Challenge Accepted.
Often when we do performance testing, we are not aware what we are measuring and is it our test plan good or not. Dusanka will share her experience about how to do it and where to begin from.
Nedko is in the QA field since 2008 and works in the Varna office of Nemetschek Bulgaria. After his wonderful and very amusing lecture in the last year edition, Nedko will be on our stage again, but this time to tell us more about security testing.
Security - we all have heard about it, and we all say that we will spare some time about it the next sprint. All of us also know that it will be dramatic if there is a security gap in our production environment, however we are always out of time... Can we fight with that? From an overview of hacking, via the tools we can use in controlled environment, to their real usage - Nedko will cover all of that in just 25 minutes. Because there is always time for security!
Evgeni is a QA Manager in the Athlon DPS team. He believes that every compromise now leads to potential problems in future. After his talk at QA: Challenge Accepted 3.0, he will appear on our stage again, to show us some master tricks about the regression testing.
We will revisit what regression testing is, when and how to perform its types and techniques. Evgeni will cover easible approaches in Agile-ish environments, as well as basic worfkflows and good practices. He will demonstrate a toolbox that helps answering how much regression is required. For example, how Git can show us the amount of change for the current release or chronic functionality breaks.

Chatbots are machines for automatic conversations. They are expected to bridge the gap that has emerged between companies and end users through the most natural method of human interaction - a dialogue. It is believed that today there are more than 200,000 chatbots. Chatbots are not just apps with predefined questions and answers but complex software solutions that combine the advantages of machine learning algorithms, natural language processing and artificial intelligence to simulate a natural conversation. How to test them - functional, nonfunctional, and automated? Hristo is here to tell us.
Dimitar and Svetoslav work in Progress, as QA Architect and Principal QA Engineer respectively. Dimitar has over 12 years of experience and has trained hundreds of QAs while being a lecturer at Pragmatic and Telerik Academy. Svetoslav has more than 6 years of professional experience in testing and has been a lecturer at NativeScript Dev Days. The main job of both of them for the last 5+ years is to automate the testing of NativeScript-based mobile applications in scales that probably do not have an analogue in Bulgaria.
We increasingly need to automate the testing of mobile applications. What is different, what are the challenges, what to test, how to approach the automation, how to build CI, and is that all enough to provide quality? A number of questions emerge and this lecture will try to answer all of them, sharing the experience and lessons learned by Dimitar and Svetoslav.
